Our Mentorship Opportunities

Therapeutic Nature-Based Consultation and Mentorship Group

This six-month consultation group meets monthly. We’ll discuss therapeutic nature-based assessment and case consultations with a focus on somatic nature-based interventions, safety and ethical considerations for working outdoors, and how to describe your work to clients and other professionals. In addition you will learn new skills, and have the opportunity to ask for ideas and feedback from a variety of other therapeutic nature-based practitioners.

Format and Dates

This is a 6 month group that meets once a month for 2 hours via zoom on Tuesdays from 9 am -11 am MT.

The next round of group dates is TBA.

Group Flow

• The general flow of each meeting session will typically include: 

  • Opening/grounding with a Nature-based activity/exercise

  • Some mix of open time for Q&A (which can be sent in ahead of time, or asked in class), discussion around assessment and intervention from a nature-based perspective, case consultation(s), and safety and ethical considerations.

  • Special topic discussions based on group’s interest

  • Considerations of next steps for yourself to integrate the material

• We will record each of our meeting sessions and post them in our course platform for review.  

• There are 16 total seats available for this group. 

Eligibility

You qualify for enrollment in the group if you have either: 

1) Taken nature-based training with the Somatic Nature Therapy Institute in the past, or

2) Completed a nature-based training with another organization, OR

3) Are already working with clients outdoors.

Somatic Trauma Therapy Consultation and Mentorship Group

This six-month consultation group meets monthly to support the deepening of your understanding, theory and skills for working somatically with clients. With a focus on trauma, attachment, and nervous system regulation, we’ll engage a mix of case consultations, relevant topic discussions, and ethical considerations, as well as have ample time for Q&A.

Format and Dates

This is a 6 month group that meets once a month for 2 hours via zoom on Thursdays from 9-11 am MT.

The next round of group dates is TBA.

Group Flow

• The general flow of each meeting session will typically include: 

  • Opening/grounding with a Somatic practice

  • Some mix of open time for Q&A (which can be sent in ahead of time, or asked in class), discussion around assessment and intervention from a somatic perspective, case consultation(s), and ethical considerations.

  • Special topic presentations based on group’s requests and interests

  • Consideration for next steps for yourself to integrate the material

• We will record each of our meeting sessions and post them in our course platform for review.

1) Taken the Somatic Soul-Based Trauma Training with the Somatic Nature Therapy Institute, or

2) Completed somatic training with another program or institution.

Mastermind Group for Business Building

This 5-month program is perfect for those looking to grow their therapeutic somatic and nature-based practice or business. With 10 meetings and 2 individual sessions with Katie, you'll gain valuable insights into growing your business.

In this group you will receive guidance on clarifying your vision and growing your business, taking logical action steps in that direction, and inspiration and learning from the wisdom and experiences of other therapists and healers committed to offering their gifts to the world. 

Format and Dates

Meets 10 times, twice a month for 2 hours, by zoom and includes 2 additional individual 45-minute meetings with Katie: one at the beginning of the program and one sometime while the group is in progress. Mastermind Dates are TBA for 2025.

• There will be a general flow to each meeting to ensure you are considering the key areas that need to be tended to in your business. You will receive support and guidance growing your practice or program at whatever stage you are in. Each meeting will be recorded and available for review in our training platform (Ruzuku).

• You will also gain additional value and insights hearing the struggles and successes of others, as well as the ideas they have employed or are currently utilizing to organize and grow their businesses. 

• There are 8 total seats available for this group. The group is closed after the group begins.

Eligibility

This group is for therapeutic healing professionals preferably working with nature-based and somatic interventions who are looking for support growing professionally.

Cost for the program is $1995 USD pay in full or $435 USD/month on a payment plan.

Additional Consultation and Mentoring Groups

Katie has additional ongoing EMDR and integrative therapy consultation groups that sometimes have openings for new members.  

Katie also works with a limited number of individuals for 1:1 mentorship.
